What is Aizawl best known for?
It is the capital state of Mizoram in India, one of the eight states of northeast India. It contains all the government's significant offices including the state assembly, and civil secretariat. A Mizo chief compelled the British to establish an outpost that later became Aizawl Village. It is located about the altitude of 3500ft above sea level.
