- Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Zoo: The Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Zoo is home to several animals such as lions, tigers, elephants, and crocodiles, along with different bird species such as albino crows and flamingos. The zoo also has penguins, making it one of the few locations that have facilities to maintain that habitat.
- Elephanta Caves: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Elephanta Caves feature five caves that are dedicated to the Hindu God, Lord Shiva. Two additional caves depict Buddhist architecture. You can easily get to this place in about an hour by taking a ferry from the Gateway of India.
