Moving ahead, the Elephanta Caves are one of the few ancient Indian relics that you will find in Mumbai. It was made by carving rocks in the 2nd Century BC. The depictions feature many Gods and Deities in unique forms and poses. It is an artistic marvel that has been rightly awarded the distinction of UNESCO heritage site.
The Haji Ali Dargah is a Mosque of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari. It is located in Worli and is frequented by people of all religions. It is an important cultural site which is also surrounded by a thriving marketplace. Sticking to religious tourism, Siddhi Vinayak Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, who is believed to be in an awakened or Jagruta form here. It is located in Prabhadevi in Mumbai and is frequented by many devotees.
Lastly, Marine Drive is another prominent place of interest in Mumbai. This 3 kms long promenade encircles Mumbai’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road, which was constructed by Pallonji Mistry and is one of the signature places of Mumbai. It is also referred to as the Queen’s Necklace.

Mumbai Airport or the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport serves Mumbai and its surrounding metropolitan region (MMR). The IATA code of this airport is BOM, and the ICAO code is VABB. In terms of cargo and passenger movement, this is one of the busiest airports in the country. Also, the airport is about 17 km from the city’s centre.
