The temple has been praised for its intricate design and wall carvings by several historians and archaeologists.
- Jai Vilas Palace: People who appreciate art, history, and heritage may enjoy visiting the Jai Vilas Palace. This well-preserved palatial monument was built by Jayaji Rao Scindia who once ruled the ancient city of Gwalior. The place also serves as a museum and features pieces of armour from the era of Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb.
- Gopachal Parvat: Situated in the Gwalior Fort, the Gopachal Parvat is one of the best places to witness age-old Jain iconography. The place comprises a group of rock-cut sculptures that are located towards the south-side of the fort.
- Padavali and Bateshwar: Bateshwar is a collection of temples that were established in the 8th and 10th centuries. Padavali refers to a fortress that was constructed in the 18th century. The location of this magnificent place is around 40 km from Gwalior.
