- India Gate: India Gate is a war memorial that was built to honour the Indian soldiers who gave their lives in World War I. Located on the Rajpath, right in the heart of the city, the arch monument is 42 meters high and is surrounded by vast, well-manicured lawns and many government buildings. - Rashtrapati Bhawan: The Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the President of India. The structure is built in H shape and was designed by British architect Edwin Lutyens. Spread across a 330-acre estate, the stately building has 340 rooms, grand banquet halls, a library and a museum complex comprising the Clock Tower, stables, and garages. The Mughal Gardens on the premises is a 130-hectare area dedicated to a lush garden. You can also enjoy a tour of the Musical Garden, the Herbal Garden, and the Spiritual Garden.
- Purana Quila: The Purana Quila is a timeless monument in the southeastern part of Delhi. It is one of the oldest forts, believed to have been built under Humayun and Afghan Sher Shah Suri. The structure is roughly rectangular, having a circuit of around 2 km. The fort complex is a combination of various structures that lie scattered over more than 300 acres where it is said that only a few monuments have survived out of the original design. The fort was surrounded by a wide trench linked to the river Yamuna.
- Nehru Park: Nehru Park is one of Delhi's biggest and best-maintained public parks, having lush space for a picnic and morning walk. The park is spread over 80 acres and has concrete pathways, two open-air gyms and a lot of green space. The place is named after the first Prime Minister of India. - National Rail Museum: The National Rail Museum is a unique museum that contains a collection of some 100+ real-size exhibits of the Indian railway. Spread over 11 acres, the museum comprises India’s railway heritage, exclusive exhibits, antique locomotives, train rides, a showcase of technical enhancements done in railways, and a lot more. Delhi Airport (DEL)
Delhi Airport (DEL) is called Indira Gandhi International Airport. It is the third busiest airport in the world. The airport serves the Delhi metropolitan area and hosts several domestic and international passenger and cargo services worldwide. It is located around 16 km from the city centre and is known for its ultra-modern facilities and easy connectivity to the rest of the city. Delhi Airport has three terminals - T1, T2 and T3. Terminal 1 is operated as a domestic terminal since it is only served by low-cost carriers. Terminal 2 operates with low-cost airlines and domestic flights. Terminal 3 is the newest and one of the world's biggest terminals, handling all the flights to Delhi. There is an inter-terminal shuttle bus free of use that connects both terminals. At Delhi Airport, passengers can avail themselves of services like restaurants, cafes, duty-free shops, baggage wrap, and porter service.
