Chandigarh is the capital city of the Indian states of Haryana and Punjab. It is also one of the eight union territories of India. It is known that the city was designed by Swiss-French Architecture. Therefore, Chandigarh is famed for its design around the world. Chandigarh derives its name from ‘Chandi’, the Goddess of power. The Capitol Complex of Chandigarh is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
