Best time to visit Delhi
The best time to visit Delhi is between October and November, or February and March. The weather during this time remains cool and dry, making it the perfect time to venture outside.
Modes of transport
Delhi has good transportation facilities. One can avail frequent DTC bus services (both AC & Non AC) for the daily commute. It is an economical way of travelling across the city. Cycle rickshaws and auto rickshaws are a good option to travel a short distance. Delhi Metro is the fastest way to get around Delhi. One can also hire private/shared cabs to explore the city.
Weather in Delhi
Delhi has extreme weather with very hot and dry summers (April to June) and harsh, bitterly cold winters (December to January). The temperature in summer can rise to a scorching 45-degrees Celsius whereas, in winter, the temperature may fall as low as 5-degrees Celsius, and occasionally below the freezing point.
The city enjoys moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by humid and hot weather from July to mid-September.
