A wrought iron structure, the tower was designed by engineer Gustave Eiffel as the primary entrance to the World Fair. Today, the 1063 feet tall tower serves as a cultural symbol for the country of France. Paris has two international airports - Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport. However, IndiGo operates flights to Paris from Charles de Gaulle Airport, the primary international airport serving the French capital.
The main airport serving Paris is Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), usually known as Roissy Airport or simply Paris CDG. It is one of the busiest international airports in France and is located near Roissy-en-France, 23 kilometres (14 miles) northeast of Paris. The airport houses upscale dining establishments, top-tier international brands, souvenir shops, and candy outlets. Outside the airport, you can easily locate buses, shuttle cabs, and taxis that will take you into the city.
