What is Tuticorin best known for?
Tuticorin aka Thoothukudi is famous for its coastline, rich heritage culture, beaches, gardens, temples and wildlife sanctuaries. It is beautifully nestled on the southeast coast of Tamil Nadu. - Kattabomman Memorial Fort – It was built by the state Government in memory of the Freedom fighter Veerapandiya Kattabomma Karuthayya Nayakkar.

- Tiruchendur Sri Subrahmanya Swami Devasthanam – It is the most famous temple located near the beach in Tuticorin.
- Mayura Thottam - Mayura Thottam is a peacock garden is an ideal place for kids and family that is spread over 55 acres and is also home to many beautiful peacocks. These peacocks can be spotted in October and November.
