- Amer Fort: Amer Fort, located on the top of the Aravali Hills, is one of Jaipur's most magnificent palaces. Its foundation was laid by Raja Man Singh in 1592. This architectural masterpiece served as the residence of the Rajput rulers and played a key role in defending the city from enemy attacks. This fort is large enough that exploring it completely can take up to 2 to 3 hours. The most captivating hall to visit in Amer Fort is Sheesh Mahal, which is decorated with mirror pieces that completely illuminates the hall.
- Jal Mahal: Jal Mahal, located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, is an architectural wonder that combines Rajput and Mughal styles of architecture. It is a five-story building made of red stones, four of which remain submerged under water and one appears above water. The surrounding lake and the picturesque Aravalli Hills that surround this palace provide a magnificent view of the Jal Mahal. Some beautiful migratory birds that can be found around Jal Mahal include flamingo, kestrel, wagtail, and pintail.
- Albert Hall Museum: Built in 1876, Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum in Rajasthan that houses artefacts brought from different regions of the world. It is renowned for its stunning architecture that resembles the Victoria and Albert Hall Museum in London. It is unquestionably a fantastic place to learn about India's history and ancient culture. The museum displays paintings, portraits, musical instruments, jewellery, ammunition, antique coins, local pottery, handicrafts, and an Egyptian Mummy.
- Jantar Mantar: Located in the heart of Jaipur, Jantar Mantar is the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world. It was built by Raja Sawai Jai Singh in 1733 and it has been declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The instruments are constructed in such a way that they can measure time, predict eclipses, and track the location of stars and the Earth’s movement.
