- Patna Museum: Constructed in Rajput and Mughal style, Patna Museum is a fascinating place that has up to 50,000 artefacts related to ancient, middle age, and British era. The main highlight of the museum is the Holy Relic casket that is said to contain the ashes of Lord Buddha. Archaeological objects can also be found there such as coins, paintings, instruments, textiles, thankas, bronze sculptures, and more. Stone sculpture gallery in the museum has beautiful statues of Lord Buddha and Didarganj Yakshi.
- Srikrishna Science Center: One of the most interesting places in Patna, Sri Krishna Science Center is located in the southwestern corner of the Gandhi Maidan. It was inaugurated in 1978 and houses an interesting collection of exhibits that demonstrate several principles of science. The place is suitable for children as well as adults, and it is a great place to learn about different principles of science.
- Buddha Smriti Udyan: Also known as Buddha Memorial Park, it is an urban park that was constructed to commemorate the 2,554th anniversary of Lord Buddha, and was inaugurated in 2010. It also has a museum with a collection of Buddhist relics from various countries. Because of its lush green gardens and meditation centre, the park is a great place to experience peace and calm. Musical shows, and laser-light and sound shows are also organised for the entertainment of visitors.
- Sanjay Gandhi Botanical Garden: Locally known as Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan, it was established in 1969 and consists of a wide range of flora and fauna. There are approximately 800 animals of 110 species such as tigers, leopards, jackals, blackbucks, elephants, Indian rhinoceros, Himalayan black bears, and zebras.
- Gandhi Ghat: Situated on the banks of the River Ganges, Gandhi Ghat is among the popular ghats in Patna where the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were immersed. The main highlight of this ghat is the Ganga aarti performed in the evening with 51 lamps. While here, you can go for a river cruise. Spiritual and peaceful energy of the place makes it ideal for relaxing.

Patna Airport, also known as Jayprakash Narayan Airport, is located 5 kms south-west of the city and IATA code is PAT. It has three terminals, with Terminal 1 for domestic flights, Terminal 2 for international flights, and Terminal 3 for cargo services. For the comfort of passengers, facilities provided include baggage wrapping, free trolleys, ATMs, and currency exchange.
