What is Visakhapatnam best known for?
Visakhapatnam, also known as Vizag, is a port city of Andhra Pradesh. A densely populated city in perfect harmony, Visakhapatnam is nestled among the hills of the Eastern Ghats overlooking the Bay of Bengal. The city, also known as "The Jewel City of the East Coast" and "City of Destiny", was ranked eighth among the top 20 cities on the list to be built as Smart City. The third-largest city on the east coast of India, except Chennai and Kolkata, the city is the centre of numerous financial activities.
