Muscat International Airport is the main airport in Oman. It is situated in Seeb which is 32 km away from the capital city of Muscat. It was originally opened as Seeb International Airport. On February 1, 2008, its name was changed from Seeb International Airport to Muscat International Airport. It serves as the major hub for Oman Air and Salam Air as well.
