- Shaniwar Wada Palace- the Maratha Empire regarded the Shaniwar Wada Palace as the seat of power. The Peshwas built this palace in the 1700s. Being a majestic structure with spellbinding architecture, the palace is still a modern-day marvel.
- Aga Khan Palace- A prominent landmark in Pune, this palace was built as an act of charity by Sultan Muhammed Shah Aga Khan. The palace came into the limelight when it served as a place for incarcerating Mahatma Gandhi and his wife. Gandhi’s secretary and even Sarojini Naidu were imprisoned here. Aga Khan built this palace as an act of respect towards Gandhi and his principles of non-violence and sacrifice.

Drink Tandoori chai in Kharadi in any of its by-lanes. Drink the chai in earthen clay pots. Called kulhad, the semi-roasted clay pots are taken from the furnace, and semi-brewed tea poured into them. In the kulhad, the tea becomes fully brewed. After the chai has completely sizzled, it is poured into another kulhad and served. The flavour of the chai is distinct and very delectable.
