- Nubra Valley trek: The Nubra Valley trek connects with the Indus Valley and the ancient trade route of the Silk Road (which connected India to Central Asia). The highest point of this trek route is the Lasermo La Pass where you can see snow even during summer. This trek can be completed within five days. Some of the major attractions you can come across on this trekking route are Maitreya Buddha at Diskit monastery and the Bactrian camel at Hunder Sand Dunes.
- Rumtse to Tso Moriri: If you want to enjoy photographic and beautiful landscapes during your trekking journey then Rumtse to Tso Moriri is the ideal route for you. It takes almost a week to complete this trek, and during your journey, you will be able to experience mountains of different colours and textures along with the two major lakes of Ladakh, namely Tso Kar and Tso Moriri lakes.
- Sham Valley trek: Although the Sham Valley trek is one of the easiest in Leh-Ladakh, you can definitely experience some amazing natural beauty while trekking through this particular route.
- The Stok Kangri climb: If you are someone who is looking for a bit of a challenge then you can try trekking on the Stok Kangri route. It includes a 6,000 m trek and trekkers have to use mountaineering gear to complete this route. While the Stok Kangri is challenging for many, it offers incredible views that are unmatched.
