- Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial: The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial was built to pay tribute to the 'Iron Man of India' – Sardar Patel. This building is surrounded by an exotic lawn that includes a statue of Sardar Patel on this lawn. Another attraction of this memorial is the statue of 'The three barristers who fought for India'. The three barristers were – Sardar Patel himself, Mahatma Gandhi, and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The statue depicts these three sitting together and being involved in a deep conversation. The memorial also houses a museum that preserves several artefacts and pictures of Sardar Patel. The two multimedia halls of this museum have been used to exhibit the life and work of this legend to the visitors. The museum uses the latest technologies, such as – laser show, 3D sound, and 3D building mapping projection for the exhibitions.
- Bhadra Fort: The Bhadra Fort was made in the Indo-Saracenic architectural style, consisting of several arches, carvings, and balconies. The main material used in this fort is red sandstone. Some of the decorative arches show Islamic inscriptions. This fort includes eight gateways. The main gateway is known as the Bhadra Gate. The eastern part of this fort includes the historic Teen Darwaza or the Triple Gateway. It features the logo of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. This exquisite gateway is divided into three arches, the middle one is the widest. The gate is the entrance of the royal square of the fort. The square is known as Maidan-Shah. Another essential structure of the fort is the Bhadra Fort Clock Tower. The East India Company brought the tower clock from London in 1849.
- Ahmed Shah's Mosque: Ahmed Shah's Mosque was built three years after the establishment of the city of Ahmedabad. This is the oldest mosque in Ahmedabad and was founded in 1414. It was the worship place of Sultan Ahmed Shah. The mosque is a good example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. The facade contains a large arch. The arch includes carved panels and two minarets on every side. The 'jali-work' on the stone screens is an example of the Gujarat style of Indo-Islamic architecture. The jalis or nets create barriers for the light to enter the sanctuary. The mosque contains 152 pillars and four arched gateways. The most exotic feature is the 'Ganj Shahid'. It's a mound that commemorates the dead soldiers of Sultan Ahmed's initial battles.
- Gujarat Science City: The Science City was designed in several sections, such as – a Hall of Science, a Life Science Park, an IMAX 3D theatre, an amphitheatre, an exam centre, a robotics gallery, a nature park, musical fountains, an aquatic gallery, and more. The Hall of Science provides the facility to participate in practical learning and hands-on experience of science for the visitors. The Life Science Park inspires the children to learn about nature, the evolution of humans, and the survival of life. Nature Park houses a butterfly garden, oxygen park, colour garden, mist bamboo tunnel, and a gaming area for children. Moreover, there are other interactive galleries within this place. The Science City complex has several pavements and roads interconnected with each other. This place is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm.
- Sanskar Kendra City Museum: The building of this museum was designed by the legendary architect Le Corbusier. It was built with the modern style of brick exposure and concrete facades. There is a courtyard at the centre of this museum and a pool. This building contains two museums – the Kite Museum and the City Museum. The Kite Museum is situated on the ground floor of the building. It exhibits around 100 pieces of kites, the history of kite flying, and photographs. Many of these kites were made by the city-based artist Bhanu Shah, who was associated with the Sanskar Kendra. The museum celebrates the kite flying festival during the Makar Sankranti or Uttrayan. The City Museum shows the cultural heritage of Ahmedabad. It preserves several artefacts related to arts, religious groups of Ahmedabad, secularism, and everyday lifestyle. One of the sections is dedicated to showing the life of Mahatma Gandhi and the freedom struggle of the people of this city.
